Simply succulent bundle....with sparkle!

This is one of the sets I didn't think I needed till recently. What really sold me on it was the large background die that came with the bundle. I am totally in love with it! Today I am sharing a few cards that focus on that background die.  These first two are super easy but totally gorgeous! I used the Rainbow Glimmer Paper (#153056) with the background die cut out in Thick White Cardstock (#159229) for the first one and Basic black cardstock (#121045) for the second one. I used a sponge on a binder clip dipped in multipurpose liquid glue to glue it all together. The saying is from the Simple Succulent set that comes in the Potted Succulent bundle (#154330).  The next card was actually really fun to do. I cut out TWO of the backgrounds in white cardstock. I glued one down to a piece of cardstock (4-1/2 x 5-1/2). Using the die as my guide, I colored in the succulents using the blender markers. It looked kind of messy! After I was done coloring, I glued another background over the

Brushed Blooms bundle..retiring soon!!

I absolutely love this bundle! The stamp set is so very versatile and easy to use. I love how the dies make the image go 3D and they make me feel like an artist. This bundle will be retiring at the end of June! You can get it at a discount until then. Check it out on my online store here:  https://beckiecarlson.stampinup.net / Here are some cards I made with the bundle that I love! This first one uses the brushed background die. I die cut from white paper and brushed the edges with Sahara sand. I scored the paper at one inch intervals to mimic a plank wall or floor. I like how it turned out. The polka dot layer was actually a left over sticker from a past Paper Pumpkin kit! Use those scraps! This next one is a similar layout, but instead of layering the die-cut strips on top, I used the negative space left over and sponged that a bit with some blushing bride pink. The DSP is from the True love package that is retiring this month. This example has no layering aside from the greeting. I
