yes,I have tons of homework to do so, I decided to scrapbook instead! Why not? In the long run, isn't keeping your family memories alive more important than being able to graph vectors and inequalities? Yes, they are. I am attempting to post the 'movie' I made of my February 2011 Digital scrapbook. I used My Digital Scrapbook from Stampin' Up! for this. The pages were all designer made. I only changed a few things here and there to personalize them. I think the colors and layout are perfect for my little album. This whole thing only took me about an hour to do. If you haven't tried MDS....you've got to try it! Loads of fun! It doesn't quite satisfy my urge to get out the paper and scissors and stamps and glue....but it will do in a pinch!
This week has been crazy. We had a fun Labor day and then actually went to school the rest of the week! The storms decided to stay away for a while. I'm glad. Our challenge this time was a color challenge. The colors are Ridinghood red, Tangerine and Pacific Point. All new In Colors at Stampin' Up! for the new catalog. I love all these colors but, together....they were a challenge! I decided to play up the red and blue and use the tangerine as a highlight. I pulled out my True Friend stamp set and stamped the large medallion style stamp all over the ridinghood red using my basic black stamp pad. It looked okay....but then I remembered the Banadana technique Pat shared in a recent Technique Junkie newsletter . You all know how much I LOVE my white gel pen, so...I went to work.
