More goodies!


Since I had my big shot out, I thought I would try another cute little goodie bag type project. I actually didn't see this one anywhere.....I think. I think I 'might' have been creative all on my own! Of course, everything we see influences what we do and think so....sorry! almost waxed philosophical there!
For this project I used the large scallop circle die and the medium oval punch. I used a Bag-a-lope for the inner 'holder' part and just sliced off the bottoms of the scallop circles so it could sit flat. I added some pink dots to the scallop for detail and used rose red ink to color the petals on my flower. Quick and easy....gotta love that big shot! Can you imagine using your corner rounder to get all the scallops even? yikers!

Sunday, my best friend died. My sweetheart of 20 years died suddenly from diabetes. We didn't know he had diabetes. It came quick and took him from me. Brad was more than just my husband, he was my best friend. I relied so very much on his strength to guide me and my children through this life. I admit I feel a bit lost without him, already. Soccer, projects and....Blog Candy!!

Okay, I know I promised to post some blog candy a couple days ago but, what was I thinking? The weekend has become the crazy part of my week! We have entered the World of Soccer. All you soccer moms out there will totally know what I am talking about. We are still in the little leagues of it, only one practice a week and one game. Per child of course....I'm glad my son decided he didn't want to play. Two kids is enough! It was a beautiful weekend tho. The weather was awesome. The sun got bright during the afternoon game, but every few minutes it would rain so, it kept us nice an comfy. Only in Florida can you have rain on a sunny day.
