who are you?

I know, that is probably what you are saying. Where have I been? Dealing with life. I will leave it at that! You really don't want to know all that has been going on. We are all mostly alive and unbroken so, life is good!
I've been trying for days, nay, weeks, to get into my craft room for some stampin therapy! I finally managed a few minutes alone in there to make some Valentine's. Thank goodness that was also the bloggers' challenge theme this week. yay! We also had a challenge a few weeks ago (which I missed) that was the same but different. So, here are two challenges.
For the teachers at school, I made jumbo covered chocolate bars. For the first one, I used Riding Hood red DSP in layers and added the heart from Always to the mini card on the front. gotta love monochromatic!
For this next one, I used Rose red DSP and some Pomeganate silky ribbon for the bow. I love this ribbon!

My daughter got into the act with me and made the one for her own teacher. I love the fact that she doesn't feel like she "has" to do it any color or style. She liked this paper, so that is what she used! I love how she colored the little owl to match. That's my girl! She also stamped all her own valentines. They turned out adorable!! (The red is just the background for the photo.) I love doing crafts with my kids!
