While I was on hold....

We all love being on hold! I know! I was sitting in front of my computer waiting and waiting and thought to myself...I could be scrapbooking! So, I opened up My Digital Studio and started scrappin away! How cool is that? No mess, the pictures are all right there...it was great! I was almost annoyed when the agent came back on the line....I asked if he could hold for a minute....LOLHere is a page I did using the

'create your own' option. I put it all together all by myself. It is so easy! You can even resize and crop your photos in the program. I am loving it!

I really like the page, but what I really want to know is how you got her to let you do her hair? I love french braiding but my girls won't let me do it on their hair. I really do like the page, and you are SO good about taking so many photos of your kids.

Fridays challenge #63

This week has been crazy. We had a fun Labor day and then actually went to school the rest of the week! The storms decided to stay away for a while. I'm glad. Our challenge this time was a color challenge. The colors are Ridinghood red, Tangerine and Pacific Point. All new In Colors at Stampin' Up! for the new catalog. I love all these colors but, together....they were a challenge! I decided to play up the red and blue and use the tangerine as a highlight. I pulled out my True Friend stamp set and stamped the large medallion style stamp all over the ridinghood red using my basic black stamp pad. It looked okay....but then I remembered the Banadana technique Pat shared in a recent Technique Junkie newsletter . You all know how much I LOVE my white gel pen, so...I went to work. Soccer, projects and....Blog Candy!!

Okay, I know I promised to post some blog candy a couple days ago but, what was I thinking? The weekend has become the crazy part of my week! We have entered the World of Soccer. All you soccer moms out there will totally know what I am talking about. We are still in the little leagues of it, only one practice a week and one game. Per child of course....I'm glad my son decided he didn't want to play. Two kids is enough! It was a beautiful weekend tho. The weather was awesome. The sun got bright during the afternoon game, but every few minutes it would rain so, it kept us nice an comfy. Only in Florida can you have rain on a sunny day. It is one of the wonders of the world. I put together a few goodies for Blog Candy today. I have been having way too much fun making stuff with coasters and patterned paper lately. Birthday blog candy!

In honor of my birthday, I am offering another package of blog candy! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite thing about getting older. :o) The candy includes a package of cardstock, metal edge tags, sanding block, cool metal border stickers, silver gel pen, and a set of mini gift cards stamped by yours truly. For some reason, my 'rechargeable batteries' decided not to 'recharge' anymore. I am quite distraught about that. I planned to share these pictures a couple of days ago, but....I had to wait til I bought some new batteries. I have to say tho, I was really afraid I had broken my camera!
