I have been working on a lot of things, the HOF, RS Craft day tomorrow, working out (made it to the gym again today!!), and of course cleaning the house....but I actually found time today to stamp. I needed to prep for a brayer class I have this Saturday night so with that focus I came up with some cute brayer cards. This is the one that Maegan liked the best. I used the All about You set as well as a tiny flower from Something sweet. I brayered my glossy paper with pretty in pink and then taped lines using strips of painters tape. Then I brayered over that with the cotton candy. After that dried for almost long enough I took of the tape and stamped the love, hearts and flowers all over the background in the rose red from the cotton candy pad. I stamped the U on another piece of glossy using the middle of the cotton candy pad and just traced around the edges with a regal rose marker to make it pop. It is hard to see, but I rubbed the edges of the paper with the U across the rose red on the CC pad to give it a border. I stamped Love in black and then....I don't know why but...this card yelled for glitter! I don't usually use a lot of glitter because it gets in my eyes and everywhere else, but this card was really askin for it! So I used the 2-way glue pen to "color" over the U everywhere except where the Love was. Then, I tied it all up with my absoulte Favorite ribbon, the black gingham and popped some dimensionals on the back of the U and voila! Done! Hope you all like it! totally cut card! I love the cotton candy pad! And this is one of my favorite stamp sets. I've been ignoring it during SAB though. I think it's time to pull it out and case your card! Thanks

Sunday, my best friend died. My sweetheart of 20 years died suddenly from diabetes. We didn't know he had diabetes. It came quick and took him from me. Soccer, projects and....Blog Candy!!

Okay, I know I promised to post some blog candy a couple days ago but, what was I thinking? The weekend has become the crazy part of my week! We have entered the World of Soccer. All you soccer moms out there will totally know what I am talking about. We are still in the little leagues of it, only one practice a week and one game. Per child of course....I'm glad my son decided he didn't want to play. Two kids is enough! It was a beautiful weekend tho. The weather was awesome. The sun got bright during the afternoon game, but every few minutes it would rain so, it kept us nice an comfy. Only in Florida can you have rain on a sunny day. It is one of the wonders of the world. I put together a few goodies for Blog Candy today. I have been having way too much fun making stuff with coasters and patterned paper lately.
