This is a page I did for my scrappin night last week. I wanted something that had a spring or Easter feel. I love the look of purple and yellow together for spring. I had these pictures I had taken a few weeks ago at the doctors office and they worked great. You may ask what kind of doctor has a forest in their back yard? Well, here in Florida, it is amazing how close the wilderness is sometimes. The natural vegitation and wildlife are always on the fringes. Just yesterday as I was on my walk around the neighborhood, I came upon two HUGE herons (I think) that were walking down the sidewalk. I was a bit nervous because they were almost up to my shoulders, but apparently I was scarier to them than they were to me because they took flight as I got close. Beautiful birds! Anyway, behind our chiropractor is a bit of wilderness with trees and bushes. Instead of sitting inside and drinking all the water from their fountain (Ben's favorite pasttime) we decided to have a photo shoot. These are just a few of the shots I got.
I especially liked the flowers I made on this page. I used the five petal punch twice and sponged the edges with my vanilla pad. I layered the flowers and punched two 1/8 inch holes in the middle. Then I simply tied a piece of pink taffeta in a knot in the middle. They look almost velvet in person. Have a great day!
