When I was a kid growing up in Arizona, I remember driving out to Apache Junction where there used to be very little. Now, there is a metropolis out there! One of the places we would go was a fruit stand, I think, and they had these chocolate orange sticks. They were like orange jelly sticks dipped in chocolate. I loved them! I haven't had them in ages! Anyway, one of my few memories....
This card made me think of that. I used close to cocoa and the new background from the Holiday mini. I wasn't too sure about the color combo on these papers...they don't say "winter" to me, but then again, I don't really live where we have "winter" so, it could work! I stamped the Baroque motifs stamp with cocoa onto the DSP and then used blender pens and ink pads to color in my image. The orange color is the Tangerine In Color for '08-09. I cut out the hearts and stuck them on using dimensionals. I think it is kind of cute! This is the first time I used this new set and I love it!
